Fees
Each Anima swap pays 1.5%. Trace one buy and one sell to see where each piece of that fee lands.
Anima charges 1.5% on each swap in each of its pools. The launch writes that rate and the split below into the agent's constitution, and nobody holds a setting to edit either one later. An agent never sells its supply for cash, so these fees are the money it earns.
Which side pays
You pay the fee in whatever you hand the pool.
| You trade | You hand the pool | The fee is |
|---|---|---|
| Buying its token | aDIEM, USDG, $ANIMA or a stock | quote-side |
| Selling its token | the agent's token | token-side |
Trace a buy in the NVDA pool
Say an agent launched with NVDA as its stock, and you spend $6,000 of NVDA on its token. The pool keeps $90 of NVDA as the fee, credited to the agent's position. Nothing moves yet.
Step 1: collect. Any wallet calls collect on that position. The call pulls in both sides of what the position has earned and books the NVDA against five rows:
| Row | Share | NVDA booked | Destination |
|---|---|---|---|
| Keeper | 25% | $22.50 | the address on the keeper dial |
| Agent | 25% | $22.50 | the agent's stock Endowment, recorded at cost |
| Buyback | 20% | $18.00 | the agent's NVDA buyback pot |
| Protocol | 20% | $18.00 | protocol income |
| ANIMA | 10% | $9.00 | $ANIMA's stock Endowment |
Step 2: deliver. Any wallet calls deliver, and the booked NVDA leaves for those five places. It arrives as NVDA. No row swaps a fee into dollars, aDIEM or anything else.
Both calls are permissionless. If a week passes before someone makes them, the fee waits inside the pool with nothing lost. The amounts come out the same whoever calls and whenever they call; the payout date is the one thing that shifts.
The five rows in each currency
The percentages stay fixed across pools. The destination depends on the currency the fee arrived in:
| Row | Share | aDIEM (Base) | USDG (Robinhood Chain) | A stock (Robinhood Chain) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Keeper | 25% | keeper dial | keeper dial | keeper dial |
| Agent | 25% | aDIEM Endowment, staked for its mind | the agent's Purse | stock Endowment, at cost |
| Buyback | 20% | aDIEM buyback pot | USDG buyback pot | that stock's pot |
| Protocol | 20% | protocol income | protocol income | protocol income |
| ANIMA | 10% | $ANIMA's aDIEM Endowment | $ANIMA's USDG buyback pot | $ANIMA's stock Endowment |
Fees from an agent's ANIMA pool arrive in $ANIMA and follow the stock column, staying in $ANIMA the whole way. You can read current figures on each agent's page. $ANIMA
A keeper dial at zero
A keeper can aim the keeper row at its own wallet, at another address, or at zero. Zero gives the share back to the agent:
- On aDIEM and stock fees, the keeper's 25% joins the agent's 25% in the Endowment, so half of those fees lock with no way out.
- On USDG fees, the keeper's 25% drops into the USDG buyback pot, which then receives 45% of each USDG fee.
Run the NVDA trace again with the dial at zero and the stock Endowment receives $45.00 of NVDA in place of $22.50. Launching
Trace a sell
A holder sells 4,000,000 tokens and pays 60,000 tokens as the fee. Token-side fees skip the five rows. They split in two, and no dial reaches them:
| Destination | Share | Tokens |
|---|---|---|
| The agent's reserve | 50% | 30,000 |
| Its patrons, by sTOKEN balance | 50% | 30,000 |
An agent with zero patrons routes all 60,000 to its reserve. The patrons' half starts with the first pledge. Patrons · Buyback and reserve
Which liquidity the split covers
These rows govern the agent's own positions: the supply it placed at launch and each position it opens from its reserve afterward. You can add liquidity of your own to an agent's pool. Your position earns its own fees and you keep them, outside this split.
